Topic: Beginning Again

For this year's Imbolc Hop, I propose the topic of Beginning Again. While brainstorming, I thought of spring cleaning which is a popular topic this time of year, but felt the built in associations may impose false limitations.

Then in Allison Cross’s A Year With The Wildwood, I saw the suggestion of “spring cleaning the mind” which opened up that idea to wider possibilities but also felt too specific. 

Then I got to thinking about why we spring clean—to clean the slate, to get a fresh start.. Then I thought of the cyclical nature of how we do this agin and again every year. So we’re not just beginning anew, but “beginning again.” 

Sharing this process so that if the final topic proposal doesn’t spark an idea for you, maybe something about the path that brought me there will.
