"Mabon or the fall equinox is the second harvest festival. Traditionally, it’s when fruits and vegetables are harvested, when autumn begins, and when Wiccans believe the Goddess moves from Mother to Crone. It’s a time to give thanks for all that has been provided."
The Pagan Grimoire
With this in mind it's time to explore the topic below...
Topic: Burning Bushes on the Path to Enlightenment
Are you familiar with concept of the burning bush? Well this Mabon I am going to invite you to investigate two concepts of burning bushes of your own. Using the Tarot, Oracle, or Astrology I'd like you to enlighten your readers as to what you think they represent.
Perhaps you see these concepts as warning? or maybe a path to enlightenment?
Concept One: What does it mean to be a “good person”?
How do you define good and bad in terms of the Tarot, what signifies a black knight or a shining prince, where do you draw the line at a wicked queen or fairy godmother? - What cards signify dodgy dealings or good deeds?
Concept Two: What is being healed?
Does the Tarot heal? We've all seen it happen or felt it within our own self, but does it actually heal? When we draw those cards, it is the words or the cards themselves that create the conditions for a healing to take place? - Which cards signify healing for you?
As always with these adventures, you may take parts of these themes and run with them in your own way, or within the concept of the topic, Transitions, you may have come up with something entirely unqiue.
As long as it is Tarot based, please feel free to let your muses sing.
