My Policies

Within my business, I decided to create a few simple policies, these still stand, but the online world now requires that I add a privacy one as well.

All my policies are explained on this page.

Deposit, Payments, and Cancellations

All Workshops, Classes, Training Events (e.g. Angelic Reiki) follow the same General Procedure Deposit and Booking Policy. Cancellation procedures and policies for Workshops, Training Events, Groups and Classes within Holistic Events, are explained within the relevant sections below.

This procedure is as follows:

1. A Class, Training Event, or Workshop will be promoted 2 - 3 Weeks in advance.
2. The 'Book' for will be opened 4 Weeks in advance.
3. Refundable Deposit Policy in effect for 14 days in advance of the event.
4. Non-Refundable Deposit Policy comes into effect 7 days before the event.

Classes at Events

Classes held within Holistic Events (e.g. Magekal Mystekal Market, Holistic Ways Festival, Source Holistic Fayre) Have Their Own Booking Policy.

This procedure is as follows:

1. Jay's is not responsible for ticket purchases to the event itself, only the class advertised.
2. Anyone Attending a Class/Workshop MUST have a ticket to the event itself.
3. Tickets purchased to the class that do not have the an event ticket, will not receive a refund.
4. A Refund Policy is in effect upon proof of event ticket purchase up to 7 days in advance.
5. A No Refund Policy comes into effect 3 days before the event.

Weekly Classes

The Booking Policy for Weekly Classes that are held locally (e.g. Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday).

Follows this procedure:

1. Jay's will offer a full refund for circumstances that are out-with their control.
2. Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance to receive a refund.
3. It is the participant's responsibility to check availability before making a booking.
4. Booking without checking availability may mean you will not receive a refund.
5. A No Refund Policy comes into effect 3 days before the day of the group.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

All Workshops & Training Events (e.g. Angelic Reiki) have a 14 day cancellation policy, this includes the following:

• Providing contact is made 14 days before the event:

1. A refund minus costs (e.g. Manual, Certificate etc.) will be made
2. Alternatively you may be offered a place on a future date (see below for exceptions and clarification)

A full refund is only offered when it is a circumstance that is out with my control.

• When you have made a booking with me, you are securing a space on the workshop. This booking, where applicable includes costs for; Printing, Venue Hire, Certificate / Crystal (where applicable). It may also cover additional costs, however nominal.

If for whatever reason you are unable to attend, your booking fee can be returned minus costs within 14 days of booking. Please be aware that after 7 days, your deposit is non-refundable.

This update to my policies, is to ensure fairness, transparency, and equality for all participants. The Non-Refundable Deposit make sure that Printing, Venue Hire, Certificate / Crystal (where applicable), and additional costs, however nominal, are all covered, and that venues will accept my hires in the future.
