Moving back into the Goddess Power, and Saraswati. Home is Mastery, think on that for a moment; we are masters, mistressess, gods and goddess of our own destiny.

We are the ones that make things happen, and the divinty around us and within us work to make it happen, but we must take an active role in what happens.

Inaction, just as much as taking action, is the catalyst, the propulsion and energy to bring a project into life. It is knowledge to understand that kernel, it is Mastery to take that knowledge, and that kernel of wisdom and make something of it.

When I think of Home, I think of a pot on the stove, heating on, and the door unlocked ready to greet me as I open to the warmth. Okay, so that might be a little chocolate box, little house on prarie kind of thing, but the sentiment is there.

As the Sun is the energy of Home, that place where we are connected and internconnected to ourselves, our family, friends, and to source, however that is understood.

The Moon from the Mythic Tarot, reminds us of the endless mysteries that images of Home can conjure.

What is home, how do you define it? Where is Home, a place, a feeling, a town, or city? Or is it a far off place that only the imagination can reach?

The theme of home and harvest has been quietly running through this entry for the hop. The harvest colours and images associated have ran through each of the cards, and none more so than here within the Eight of Pentacles from the Dragon Tarot.

The scenery here is fairly barren, which is how Autumn ends up, just as the winter cycle is due to begin. Its a time to build and compose plans for the next cycle. It is a time to rebuild strength and power, plan ahead and prepare.

There is power in that knowledge, and strength in recognising it. There is a place to build from, and a place to welcome the light, even in the darkest of moments.
